Mead School District
Trish Henry is the district librarian for the Mead School District where she has been instrumental in updating the district’s libraries and library program. Trish has used her 30+ years experience as a teacher librarian and as an innovator to encourage, facilitate and lead the change in the Mead libraries. Makerspaces, emerging technologies, and 24/7 access to resources are now available to all library patrons. As an adjunct at Central Washington University and at Whitworth University, she promotes the latest library technologies while training new teacher-librarians.
Trish is happily married and a devoted mother to two Eagle Scouts. In her spare time, Trish enjoys binge reading, crafts, programming, graphic design, and exploring new technologies.
