She has been in education for 15 years with teaching experiences in OR, AK, and ND teaching in 1st, 2nd, and 4th grade classrooms. Misti moved into the school library program 5 years ago because she has a passion for educational technology integration, literacy, and project based learning. She obtained her Masters in Library and Information Studies from Florida State University in 2013 and has been a National Board Certified Teacher for 11 years.
