Syracuse City School District
Manami Tezuka is the Supervisor of Library Media Services for Syracuse City School District. She began her career in education as an ESL teacher and became a school librarian to further impact literacy across the curriculum for all students. Through her work as a school librarian she became fascinated with the possibilities instructional technology offers in teaching and learning and the importance of educating students to be digitally literate. This prompted her to become an instructional technology integration specialist for four years before returning to school libraries as the Supervisor of library Media Services at Syracuse City School District where she is happily blending the information fluency skills with instructional technology to develop a program for students to become truly literate in our 21st Century world.
