Calvert County Public Schools
Jennifer Sturge has been an educator for 24 years, her entire career with Calvert County Public Schools. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, her Master’s in School Library and Educational Technology from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, and an Administrator Certification from Towson University. She currently serves as the specialist for the library media programs coordinating the professional development and library media programs for Calvert’s schools and is pleased to be a part of Calvert County Public Schools Future Ready team. Jennifer considers herself fortunate to be able to work with librarians and libraries; with people and places where students are encouraged to pursue their interest and books and technology exist hand in hand. In addition, Jennifer is a Common Sense Certified Educator, an Edmodo Certified Trainer and a Discovery Star Educator. She is married to a fellow educator and is the mom to two wonderful teens. Jennifer’s hobbies include teaching indoor cycling at the local gym, reading, and being a self-proclaimed science fiction geek.
