Jennifer Sturge, a 2017-2018 Lilead Fellow, published an article in School Library Journal this past December titled, “What’s Your Why?  Defining Your Mission | Take the Lead.”  In it, she discusses the process of discovering her professional “Why.”  She shares how bringing this process back to her district has empowered the other teaching librarians, giving them a renewed sense of why the come to work everyday.  By applying what she’s learned through the Lilead Project, Jennifer is bringing transformational change to her district.
