Kelly Miller earned her Master’s Degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia and her administrative certificate from Cambridge College.  She has been an elementary school and middle school librarian and a high school computer resource specialist in Virginia Beach City public schools.  Currently, she is the Coordinator of library media services for the school district, which is fortunate to have 120 library media specialists and 86 library media assistants working in eight-six schools.   She is President of the Virginia Association of School Librarians (VAASL), the AASL Affiliate Assembly Chair elect and an active member of the AASL supervisor’s group.

She is married to a fellow educator and has three daughters in their twenties.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at the beach, either riding her bike or reading.
