boudrye_2Lilead Fellow Jennifer Boudrye tells of her struggles and strides as the Director of Library Programs for the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS). She and her team have worked hard to support DCPS librarians and demonstrate to the school system just how vital librarians are!

Jennifer Boudrye is the Director of Library Programs for the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS).  Prior to joining DCPS, Ms. Boudrye was a school library media specialist and administrator in Montgomery County, MD publi
c schools and has experience working with students from Prek – 12. Before earning her MLS from the University of MD, Ms. Boudrye worked as a web publisher, and radio talk show producer and host. Ms. Boudrye is committed to ensuring that all students  have access to the best information resources and opportunities to develop expert information literacy skills for school and life.
